The single screw electromechanical actuator that comes standard with the 8862 test equipment was developed specifically for low-cycle-rate static and cyclic testing at low strain rates. Completing the systems are two-column load frames that have a high level of stiffness and precision alignment. This ensures that the tests produce accurate and reliable findings.

Each station of the 16-Station ElectroPuls testing system is furnished with a fatigue-rated load cell, allowing for the simultaneous testing of multiple samples for high cycle fatigue. To facilitate high-frequency testing and reduce testing time, the fixture employs a carousel with specially constructed high rigidity and low volume.
